Multi-day tours work as a training block or a cycling holiday. The Pyrenees Three-Day Camp covers 320 km and 7,400 m of ascent over three days of mountain passes, with van support, hotel and a mechanic included. That is roughly 2,470 m of climbing a day, so it is built for fit, experienced riders. The support makes a big difference: luggage is carried, a mechanic can fix problems, and a van is available if you need a break. Book well ahead, prepare with long rides beforehand and check travel arrangements to the start.
